Analyst: Jeff Sessions in a Desperate Fight to Keep his Job

One relatively unique aspect of the Trump White House is its high turnover rate. President Trump has shown no hesitation to fire those who he is not satisfied with, and his recent firing of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson hammered this point home yet again. Now, many are wondering if Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be the next to go.

Jeff Sessions first earned Trump’s ire when he recused himself from the Russian collusion investigation. Since then, Session’s incompetence has been on full display in one instance after another. Most recently, Sessions proved that he lacked the nerve to do his job when he refused to go after Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf.

On February 24, Schaaf sent out a series of tweets warning illegal immigrants that an ICE raid was about to take place. Schaaf’s decision to issue a warning about the ICE raid allowed criminal illegal immigrants to walk free, including several rapists. This is a clear-cut case of obstruction of justice, yet Sessions has done nothing.

The sad reality is that Jeff Sessions does not have the stomach for a fight of any kind. Sessions has the demeanor of a scared puppy in a position that requires the demeanor of a rottweiler.

Sessions knows he is in a desperate fight to keep his job, perhaps that’s why he is finally going after sanctuary cities. Check out the details on his last ditch efforts to keep his job.
