Bernie Flops, Cruz Flies in CNN Debate

Ted Cruz has been on a bit of a roe lately. In case you missed it, the sports blog website DeadSpin recently posted the request for anyone who has ever seen Ted Cruz playing basketball before to please tweet in the image. Naturally, DeadSpin assumed it would receive a wide range of random images from people tweeting in. Ted Cruz decided to tweet in himself and tweet a picture of Duke basketball player’s Grayson Allen, an almost dead ringer look alike, if Ted Cruz was 20 years old.

DeadSpin responded poorly, yet the Internet itself went nuts as Ted Cruz ultimately had fun with the post, and totally owned the sports blog. Perhaps his publicist team decided to lighten up his personality with these posts. However, he hasn’t stopped owning his competition as he recently took it to Bernie Sanders in a debate.

During a recent debate, both Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders took to a CNN sponsored event in order to discuss healthcare. Bernie Sanders was made famous for saying low to medium income families would receive free healthcare. The problem with free is someone has to pay for it in the end and the tax dollars simply do not add up.

How much would the Bernie Sanders insurance plan cost the United States? Ted Cruz goes over these numbers while he completely owns the Vermont Senator. Make sure to watch the video to watch Ted Cruz completely take it to his opponent—and be sure to watch Bernie’s hilarious facial expressions!
