Chuck Schumer Got Massive Payout from Facebook while Defending It from Pres. Trump

How many times in the past week have you heard that the federal government is in the pocket of the NRA? Stretch back a few months and that claim is probably one of the most repeated lies in the country.

Anyone who knows anything about gun regulations or the gun industry understands that the NRA is not an organization that thrives on spending huge sums of money. They also aren’t the primary driver behind successful pro-gun campaigns. Groups like Gun Owners of America have been a more powerful force in the movement.

That doesn’t mean that Congress is without corruption and bribery. The irony that the Democrats are the first to level accusations of being in someone’s pocket is entirely lost on the left. The Clintons made an entire career out of pay-to-play political schemes. The DNC itself thrives on huge donations from a small number of super PACs. If anyone in Congress is basing their legislation, policy or decisions off of lobbying and corrupt funding, they likely have a D next to their name on the ballots.

While there’s no question that these practices have tainted the left for decades, hard proof isn’t always readily available. Well, a breaking story has directly tied questionable payouts to Chuck Schumer. That won’t shock you, but when you see the raw timing of it all, you can’t help but feel at least a little offended that he wasn’t more careful. This video has the details, and it should be worthwhile for a mixture of amusement and outrage.
