Democrats Run Ad Portraying Republican Voters as White Supremacists and Kid Killers

When does politics turn into a caricature?

Maybe when political ads sink to the all-time low that the one shown here does, introduced by YouTube commentator Mark Dice.

As Dice points out, there’s an election for governor of Virginia happening, and Republican challenger candidate Ed Gillespie has been endorsed by President Trump, while Democrat Ralph Northam is the state’s present lieutenant governor, endorsed by Democratic Governor (and personal friend of the Clintons) Terry McAuliffe.

The ad in question depicts a hypothetical racist act of violence in the most sensationalized, cartoonish and shameless way possible; it’s portrayed as a dream — although, for voters, it’s designed to look like a nightmare. Of course, the ridiculous fictionalization of its characters, setting and plot will probably end up backfiring and producing the reverse effect that the ad’s creators, the Latino Victory Project, likely intended.

When will the Democrats realize that playing identity politics is a loser at the ballot box and an admission that there’s nothing else to talk about?

As a bonus, Dice shows what may have been the second-worst political ad of all-time, also produced by a Democratic Latino group back in 2015. (A word of warning: there’s extreme profanity in the second ad.)

Watch, as the Democrats seem to really be reaching for material with these videos — obviously a sign of the pitiful desperation to which they’ve sunk.
