If Confederate Statues are Removed, is the Constitution Next?

Where will it stop?

The recent removal of Civil War statues in Durham, North Carolina and Baltimore in the aftermath of the violent events in Charlottesville, Virginia has some people wondering where this fervor for political correctness will end. While it’s true that the incidents in Charlottesville occurred due to a protest over the possible removal of Civil War monuments in that city, the fact that larger questions are now being raised proves that progressives don’t have a sense of boundaries when it comes to political issues.

Already, channels such as CNN are calling for the removal of monuments to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson because they owned slaves. And almost unbelievably, Vice News has published an editorial that called for the dynamiting of Mount Rushmore.

Knowing liberals, however, perhaps none of this is as surprising as it might sound. Of course, as President Trump has rhetorically asked on television, “Where will it stop?” Do history books have to be rewritten, or does the city of Washington, D.C. have to be renamed? Will there be demands to remove some people’s signatures from our Constitution?

In this clip, Fox’s Tucker Carlson interviews Baltimore religious leader Reverend Jacques Degraff about what he believes is the right course of action for our country. Watch as Degraff alternately sounds reasonable and measured with some of his opinions, but less so with others.
