Interview with London Mayor Proves He Is Totally Incompetent at Keeping People Safe

It’s called the blame game — also known as finger-pointing. London Mayor Sadiq Khan, the first Muslim to hold that job, is grilled in this clip by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid of ITV’s Good Morning Britain, and it appears that Khan’s seat is more than just a little warm by the looks of his reactions to Piers Morgan’s questions.

In this case, Khan seems eager to shift the blame for a lack of increased police response following the most recent terror attack that occurred on and around London Bridge to budget shortfalls from his country’s government. At the same time, some of the comments coming out of his mouth are fairly unbelievable; in the wake of the attack, Khan has been quoted as saying that terrorism in a big city such as London is part and parcel of everyday life. The fact that 7 people lost their lives and more than 40 were injured seems to have affected Khan’s thinking very little in terms of real-world solutions to this rampant problem.

Progressives and social justice warriors have been mocking President Trump for calling Khan out on Twitter for Khan’s statements minimizing terrorism, but Trump is absolutely correct in saying this scourge is a huge issue that needs to be dealt with in the strongest possible way. Because the minute one starts accepting terrorism as an everyday occurrence and “the new normal,” that’s when nutcases such as last Saturday’s lunatics will start looking for bigger and more spectacular targets to attack.

Will Khan adopt his same attitude if terrorists get their hands on a weapon of mass destruction? Say, if they were able to set off a dirty bomb in the heart of his city’s business district? Will he just throw up his hands and say, “Well, that’s life in the big city!”? Watch as Khan clearly has some explaining to do to citizens of his nation’s capital who are demanding more concrete responses than are being undertaken currently.
