Joe Scarborough Loses It, Goes on Epic Rant about Liberal College Professors

Joe Scarborough of MSNBC hits the nail on the head when he calls out the intolerance and hypocrisy of deep-seated liberalism at public and private universities across America in this clip from the Morning Joe Show.

Most students who hold conservative values will likely nod their heads at Joe’s unswerving assessments because they know all too well what he describes in this impassioned clip. Studies show that conservative professors on campus — when they exist at all — are vastly outnumbered by Left-leaning ones, and the problem is only getting worse.

In 2016, the academic publication Econ Journal Watch looked at voter registration of faculty at 40 leading universities. It found that out of more than 7,200 professors, Democrats outweighed Republicans by a ratio of nearly 12 to 1.

In history departments, the trend is even more pronounced, with Democrats outnumbering Republicans by 33.5 to 1. In 1968, a similar study found the ratio was only 2.7 to 1, and in 2004, a study put the number at only 9 to 1.

The disparity is greatest at the most prestigious of institutions, with Ivy League universities being among the worst offenders. But the truth is, it’s hard to find a college campus these days that hasn’t had discussions about “safe spaces,” “trigger warnings” and the potential cancellations of talks by conservative speakers who didn’t share the same politically correct viewpoints as the faculty.

Watch as the Morning Joe host isn’t afraid to discuss this phenomenon intensely with his co-hosts.
