Liberal Hypocrite Diane Feinstein Talking about Unwanted Illegal Immigrants in 1993

Old recordings are quite often a thorn in the side for hypocritical politicians. For people who flip their stances on major issues as often as they change their clothes, these recordings shine a spotlight on just how hypocritical they really are.

For example, if you rewind the clock back to 1993, you’ll see a very different version of Diane Feinstein than the one we have today. In the video below, Feinstein can be seen explaining how anyone who enters the country ought to do so legally. She goes on to say that Mexico must do a better job of enforcing its border and that the day the US could afford to be a welfare state for illegal immigrants is gone. What a drastic departure that is from the Diane Feinstein who now wants to open our borders up and hand out amnesty like it’s free candy.

Of course, there’s no reason to think Feinstein’s views in 1993 were any more legitimate than her views today. In both cases, she simply went with what was popular for the party at the time, and she will no doubt continue to do so as the Democratic platform evolves. To politicians like Feinstein, staying in power is the only true policy and moral compass that they have.
