Listen Up: Samuel L. Jackson Cuts Anti-Trump Radio Ad in Georgia

Samuel L. Jackson must be getting old! Either that, or he just wasn’t paid enough to bother appearing on video for this weak advertisement for the Democratic Party in Georgia’s 6th Congressional district.

Due to Republican Representative Tom Price’s becoming the President Trump’s new Secretary of Health and Human Services, there was a special election for the Congressional seat held on Tuesday. Democrat Jon Ossoff failed to reach 50 percent of the vote, despite a record $8.3 million campaign war chest — 95 percent of which came from out of state — ensuring that a runoff election will take place pitting Ossoff against GOP challenger Karen Handel in June.

The district has been a solid Republican stronghold for 38 years, but Democrats were hoping to turn the tide by bringing in celebrity out-of-state talent for ads such as this one.

By the sound of Jackson’s voice, he probably couldn’t be bothered to even get up off his sofa for this ad, which both looks and sounds as cheap as Jackson’s lame attempts at slamming Trump, ridiculously accusing him of being a racist.

Trump called out the Dems for reaching out to Hollywood to try to win over the seat formerly occupied by Price. “Great job, Karen Handel! It’s now Hollywood vs. Georgia on June 20th,” tweeted the president.

Watch the clip to hear the one-time A-list actor goaded into referencing his glory days in 90s movies such as “Pulp Fiction.”
