Millennials are Ditching the Democratic Party in Droves

There’s an old quote, “If you aren’t a liberal at 25 you have no heart; if you aren’t conservative at 35 you have no head.” It has been repeated and reappropriated through the years, but the sentiment is always the same. Liberalism is a young idealist’s game. It has no business in matured decision making.

While millennials have taken a beating from older generations for their many faults, it’s beginning to appear that the generation is no more immune to the maturing of time than any other. There’s no question that a slew of pulls are showing the millennials rapidly leaving the Democratic Party. They aren’t taking a straight line to conservatism, but we all know how this story ends. As they get real jobs and further their careers, they’ll see that the older generations were right all along. It probably doesn’t slow the change to see every liberal claim proven wrong at every turn.

This is mostly good news for the country, but it almost seems sad that reasonable minds are soon going to lose the butt of all of their jokes? Will we have to resort to picking on generation Z? That seems like low hanging fruit. Well, in a farewell bid to the “millennial way,” here’s a video to both explain why this change is happening and to enjoy one last laugh at the expense of youth. Enjoy.
