More People Call on Mitch McConnell to Step Down as Majority Leader

Recently, after many months, President Trump finally had a sit-down with Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The two men had a long talk about the lack of progress the Republican-controlled Senate has been able to achieve on important “must-pass” legislation like the repeal of Obamacare and the current attempt at tax reform.

For some time now, conservatives like former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon have been saying that McConnell has to be removed from his leadership position in the Senate because he can’t deliver on these items. After all, McConnell and other establishment Republicans have been promising for years that they would successfully repeal Obamacare.

Even congressmen in the Republican-led House of Representatives are turning against their Senate colleagues because everyone is realizing the Senate is where the bottleneck for this “must-pass” legislation lies — it’s not in the presidency, and it’s not in the House.

Watch, as the gang from Fox & Friends turn to former Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz of Utah on what to do about Mitch McConnell.
