Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) has won the “Meanest Member of Congress” award from The Washingtonian twice now, after being nominated anonymously by her own staff members. So, it’s no surprise that she is especially nasty to any conservative witness who has to appear before her in a committee hearing.
Unfortunately for her, two recent witnesses turned out to be fearless in the face of Jackson-Lee’s bullying and outright lies! Diamond and Silk, the dynamic and unapologetically Trump loving YouTube sensations, appeared before the House Judiciary Committee to talk about how the cowardly lions at Facebook had censored their social media channel.
Every Democrat on the committee tried to attack Diamond and Silk, but Jackson-Lee reserved a special level of nastiness for the ladies during her line of questioning.
Jackson-Lee accused Diamond and Silk of being paid by the Trump campaign, which is a vicious lie the media is currently perpetrating (they were reimbursed for a flight to a pro-Trump rally in 2016, which is not the same thing, but don’t expect liberals to understand math or economics anytime soon). Then, Jackson-Lee accused Diamond and Silk of lying about Facebooks lack of effort in resolving the censorship issue.
Let’s just say… Diamond and Silk ain’t playin’!
