Former UK Independence Party leader, Nigel Farage recently appeared on Fox News Fox and Friends to speak to the change in attitude toward immigration in Europe. The interview specifically focused on Switzerland’s move toward requiring immigrants seeking citizenship to repay any welfare they have received.
Farage sees a correction to the open borders mentality that has predominated Europe along the lines of the Swiss and Austrians. He believes at a minimum, anyone seeking citizenship should show a willingness to assimilate into the culture and learn the language. Countries that require this are “wholly justified” in such requirements.

Farage also speaks to the mayor of London and the leaders of the Labor Party refusal to invite President Trump to visit London.
Sadiq Khan, London’s mayor, has called for “large-scale” protests should Trump for any reason visit the city.
