The American Civil War is the one of the bloodiest times in the history of the United States. More American soldiers died on these battlefields than in the fields in Europe during either World War, or in the Pacific or in Vietnam War.
We as a nation have seemingly come a long way since the American Civil War of the 1860’s. However, the nation in itself is in a state of regression, as we once again find ourselves pitted against each other with the divide between the Left and the Right.
Our country has always had at least two major political parties. Some smaller parties have popped up here and there, but the established Democrat and Republican parties have sustained the test of time. Now though, the rift between the two sides may lead to another civil war.
This is not to say our national guard will be called to arms and you’ll see Texas Rangers taking on San Francisco hippies. It is not a battle of militaries but a battle of ideologies and the liberal left simply is not looking for compromise.
President Donald Trump is the perfect president to bring about unity within the country simply because he isn’t a traditional Republican or lifelong politician. He is a businessman who has experience working with both sides.
Yet Democrats will not budge and are even releasing fake information and news about him, doing whatever they can to prevent unity. Rush Limbaugh discussed this during a recent radio segment. Listen to what he as to say about how close he thinks we are to a new civil war within our border.
