There is No Such Thing as “Democratic” Socialism. There is Only Socialism

The recent primary in New York that saw an upstart Socialist outs a 10-year Democrat party leader has made Americans everywhere uneasy that the left wants to take the country down the failed paths of the Soviet Union, Cuba and most recently Venezuela.

Facing a midterm election that is showing signs that everyday Americans are growing wary about the extreme left ideas about government. The rhetoric has already stated that the ideas of people like 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who won the Democratic primary, are not really Communism.

Far left leaders are noticing poll numbers plummet as voters piece together this vocal young Democrat’s ideas with those of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and other liberals.

In this segment host Dan Bongino takes on the rising Democrat power block of Socialists. As Bongino points out, there is virtually no difference between these Democrats calling themselves “Democratic” Socialist and old school Communism.

Drawing examples from economically embattled Venezuela, Bongino draws back the curtain on those that would try and make Americans believe somehow this new brand of Socialism is fair and just. In Venezuela, citizens are marching in the streets, but not for their civil rights. They are literally protesting for water, clean water!
