Tim Allen Fired by ABC for Speaking Out Against Hollywood’s Liberal Insanity

Looks like Disney’s ABC subsidiary is at it again. The television network, which is part of an acknowledged Hollywood ‘Mafia’ of liberal groupthink, has chosen not to renew conservative star Tim Allen’s popular TV show “Last Man Standing,” despite it being the most watched show in its time slot and the number 2 show overall for ABC (behind Modern Family).

Allen is no stranger to expressing his political views. In March, the Republican star appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Kimmel and essentially accused Hollywood of acting like the Gestapo of 1930s Germany. Was his show’s non-renewal payback for those comments?

Conservatives should note that Disney CEO Bob Iger was one of the biggest contributors to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and over the last two decades, he’s given millions to the Democratic Party. Walt Disney’s niece Abigail Disney was another huge Clinton donor, who also has given the Clinton Foundation hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.

And that’s just Disney. Its ABC division was ensnared in a political scandal in 2015 when network correspondent George Stephanopoulos — who was Director of Communications for President Bill Clinton in the 1990s — gave $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation and conveniently didn’t reveal that fact when he interviewed Hillary Clinton prior to her run for the presidency the following year.

All in all, it can be said that ABC, like most major television networks, has its biases, and they can be found in everything from executive decision-making to program storylines. Consume Disney content at your own risk!
