Did you notice? More people today are talking about the Parkland shooting than the Santa Fe shooting. Especially on the left. Why could that be? The Santa Fe shooting just happened. Yet, the left has spent very little time on it. Sure, there were some obligatory headlines, but mostly it has been ignored as a major talking point from the left. What a turnaround!
What’s crazy is that the Santa Fe shooting was one of the worst school shootings in American history. To see 10 people murdered in a single incident is incredibly rare. One might think that the left would seize this tragedy (like they always do) to push their nonsense gun control. Where is the outrage? Where are the voices?
You know the answer to this. The shooting flew in the face of their narrative. It definitively proved that every proposal they have made in the past 10 years is completely useless. “Common sense” gun control will not stop school shootings. It will not save lives. Rather than admit that, they simply ignore the plight of these poor kids. Ultimately, the gun control fight is going the same direction as every liberal cause — dying to inarguable truth.
