It’s amazing how frequently mainstream media gets away with criticizing Trump’s character. This is yet another example of him demonstrating maturity and grace in the face of an opposing campaign that is increasingly staking its success on mudslinging.
Trump moved the discussion away from Obama’s birth status, not because the issue is settled, but because it is unimportant. He doesn’t want pointless controversy distracting the American people from issues that really matter: ISIS, economy and everything else threatening the wellbeing of America.
Frankly, the Trump campaign doesn’t really need any more citable examples of leftwing corruption. They’ve made their trustworthiness abundantly clear, making it easy for Mr. Trump to focus on policy and ways to improve America.
You may find the Clinton campaign struggling to match the change in tone, since the only hope of distracting America from her proven corruption and incompetence is a smear campaign.
