Twitter Deletes President Trump’s Account

Social media has taken it upon itself to block accounts and push down information it deems unworthy of being seen by others (mainly conservative news and commentators). Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube are the primary culprits behind this kind of action.

In recent months, it has come to light that Facebook suppressed Republican posts and favorable conservative content during the Presidential Election while it also boosted posts with favorable ties to the Democratic side. Twitter recently though took this level of censorship to a new level by deleting President Trump’s Twitter account just a few days ago.

President Donald Trump is an avid Twitter user. Regardless of what people think of his social media preference, it was just a matter of time before a President came about with this kind of social media usage. More likely than not, most presidents to follow Trump will also have a stronger social media presence as it becomes more and more important to remain connected to the people of this great nation (in a way, Trump is the most connected president in the history of the United States).

So why did Twitter delete Trump’s account and what actions have been taken against the individual who did block the account? Check out the video to find out.
