These days, the news cycle is pretty fast. You can get information from so many sources that a lot of people struggle from information overload. Unlike 20 years ago, when lesser stories were missed from a lack of opportunity to cover them, every little thing makes national headlines. Even among mainstream outlets, they have so many resources that they can cover everything.
What doesn’t fit in a 24/7 broadcast on CNN can be put on their website in an article. If that’s still too much effort, a simple social media post can still hit the important points. With a dedicated staff and so many outlets, it’s almost unreasonable how much news is thrown at us every day.
Yet, somehow, mainstream media misses massively important stories every day. Despite having the vastest information tools in the history of humanity, they completely fail to report stories that should be important. A few classic examples include a case of the IRS targeting Obama’s political enemies, climate scientists falsifying data and an Obama advisor floating plans for forced abortion and euthanasia (did you miss that last one?).
