Conservatives are people who want to protect something, to preserve something. They are people with the humility to realize that society is complex- that the West has gotten a lot of things right- and they don’t want to risk screwing it up by fooling around with it too much.
Liberals are just the opposite. They are out to change everything. If the last 20 years aren’t evidence enough- it’s worth considering the fact that no matter how much change they achieve- they’re always pushing for more. It doesn’t matter if working people and families have to pay for that change.
All the better in fact. Liberals do not respect people who work hard. They see hard work as an attempt to exploit others and to horde resources. They see the family as a structure of oppression- not a mechanism for security and mutual support.
That’s not to say that liberals do not have some good points. They do. But when left unchecked- their aims and means get way out of line- violent even.
The evidence of that violence is all around you. Consider the Trump supporter who remains silent for fear of losing his job. Consider every conservative rally that’s been attacked by fascist Antifa groups. And consider the fact that the left wing media lies its butt off making conservatives look like legitimate targets for violence.
Well, Kerry Picket says, if the Dems win these midterms, there will be less to protect conservatives from the violence of the left.
