Not only does the left actively accept anything their teachers, pundits, professionals, and politicians tell them- not only do they accept the words of their masters on complete and total faith- but by the same token, out of the same laziness, they refuse to listen to and attempt to understand the arguments of conservatives.
Conservatives are not like that. Not only is our view informed by history, but we also listen to the arguments of our ideological opponents on the left- and we do it for a couple of reasons. One reason is simply that we enjoy showing as many people as we can why the left is so wrong and crazy. We get a hell of a lot of traction out of exposing their illogic and their hypocrisy.
Sometimes we call this owning the libs and drinking liberal tears in all their salty goodness. But the other reason is the fact that we care about making sense and value freedom of speech. That means we do not believe we have a right to shut you up or shut you down when we disagree.
The left thinks (and we use that word loosely here) otherwise. They do not listen. They only follow their feelings. That’s why they back Antifa. Well, Antifa is being regularly exposed for the violent mob that it is. It would be easy if the wingnut media didn’t protect them.
