Democrats love to believe that they hold a monopoly on minority support. They’ve been hard pushing the idea that black Americans and other minorities should automatically vote Democrat because the Democrats care more. It’s a bold-faced lie. We all know it, but because too many prominent entertainers are drinking the Kool aid, the ideology persists.
That’s why it’s extremely important to take note when members of minority groups stand up for conservatism. As much flak as every conservative gets, these “traitors” get even more. While that alone doesn’t make their words more valuable, it usually pushes them to be more informed than the average person.
This video is almost amazing. It put equal-sized groups of black conservatives and black liberals in a room and got them talking. It’s incredibly refreshing to hear some of the opinions of black conservatives. You can see that the principles are universal — even to someone who group up in the projects and went to the worst public schools.
The problem is that this video was made by VICE, and as such, it serves their agenda. It isn’t actually an equal representation of two sides. If you pay attention, you’ll catch many of the subtle, insidious tactics used by the VICE to control the narrative. Watch it, but watch it very closely. And watch til the end to see what happens AFTER the debate is over—one side apologizes to the other. Can you guess which side gives in?
