Democrats Go After Trump’s Potential SCOTUS Pick for being a Christian

Pres. Donald J. Trump has whittled his U.S. Supreme Court nominee list to just a handful of candidates and the prospect of a conservative majority has Democrats quaking in their boots.

As many recall, the president published a list of judges that he promised to select to fill Judge Anthony Scalia’s seat. He was faithful to his word and elevated Justice Neil Gorsuch to the bench. With moderate and swing vote Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring, the president has returned to that list.

Reports are coming in that Democrats are up in arms about one particular potential nominee. Showing a clip of Rush Limbaugh reading hostile interrogations of the proceedings when Amy Coney Barrett was vetted for a federal judgeship, the conservative talk show host says Democrats are angry that she’s a Catholic!

During a heated panel discussion by legal experts, it seems Democrats are more focused on Judge Barrett’s religious beliefs than the fact she is an excellent Constitutional law expert. What may shock everyday Americans is that the left going after her tooth and nail over her Christianity and how that plays into the Roe v Wade decision that legalized abortion.

It’s true that the president prefers pro-life judges. However, he is wedded to the idea that Supreme Court justices decide cases based on the U.S. Constitution.
