Donna Brazile is the former chair of the Democratic National Committee. Since the election of Donald Trump, the DNC has looked for all sorts of ways to attack the president. However, Mrs. Brazile is no longer the head of the DNC. In fact, she stepped down shortly after it was revealed that she passed on insider information to the Clinton camp leading up to debates.
Ultimately, Bernie Sanders never stood a chance against Hillary Clinton and it had nothing to do with his politics.
It is impossible to say what would have happened if Bernie Sanders won the Democratic nomination instead of Hillary Clinton. It’s also pointless to try and figure that out now as it doesn’t matter. However, the DNC assumed Hillary Clinton would never lose to Donald Trump. It also assumed she wouldn’t run one of the worst political campaigns in the history of the United States.
