ESPN Host Goes OFF on Colin Kaepernick

In the weeks before the start of the NFL Season, San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick turned heads when began kneeling instead of standing during the National Anthem. He stated he would not stand for the National Anthem until minorities in this country were treated fairly.

Now, whether you believe in his stance or not, it is the right of every American to exercise freedom of speech. It is one of the amendments that helps make this country great. Colin stated he wanted to see change take place. However, that may not actually be the case.

In a recent interview following the Presidential Election, Colin Kaepernick told reporters he did not vote. So while he has been preaching for change, he did not partake in the simplest, easiest form of change.

Mr. Kaepernick is a hypocrite for wanting change but refusing to do anything to bring that change about. It now begs the question of if he protested the National Anthem simply for his own benefit. Watch ESPN host Steven A. Smith go off on Kaepernick’s hypocritical stance in the video clip below.
