The political system within the United States may be seen as less than desirable. As long as politicians make money on the side through second hand deals and using their political power ad leverage to bring in outside funding, very little will change (and in all likelihood it will only grow worse with time).
One of the big reasons voters turned away from Hillary Clinton was actions in regards to the Clinton Foundation and its stance as an international money laundering front. Poised as a way to donate money to services around the world, money came in freely into the Foundation from many outside sources, including massive sums of money from heads of state, such as the Prince of Saudi Arabia. The Clinton’s used their family foundation to curry international influence and favors—as well as enrich their own lives.
