Keith Olberman Commits High Treason: Calls for Foreign Agents to Leak Information

Nutso liberal commentator Keith Olbermann has gone too far this time.

Aren’t viewers getting a little sick of this act by now? In this ludicrous clip, Olbermann makes what can only be described as a bizarre plea for foreign governments, intelligence agencies and news reporters to leak, dump, reveal or otherwise communicate whatever “dirt” they have on President Trump — via channels official and otherwise. (What’s particularly funny is that he includes among his suggestions the governments of America’s closest allies, which would have no motive to act against the U.S.) One has to ask, would he have issued the same plea for, say, the leaked documents of the Democratic National Committee?

It’s a sad day when a political commentator is begging intelligence agencies to subvert the will of American voters. If this video was put out on any more “official” a channel (it’s a product of GQ magazine) and Olbermann was calling for, say, the leaking of military secrets, he might be prosecutable for aiding and abetting national enemies.

But as it stands, Olbermann probably thinks (or was told) he’s doing the “politically correct” thing. But in this case, the “politically correct” thing appears to be a wildly anti-American thing, and so, one has to wonder who condoned this editorial rant and believed it was OK to release.

If this was the 1950s, Olbermann would likely be looked at as the equivalent of Senator Joe McCarthy, who encouraged a witch hunt against supposed Communist infiltrators of the government. Perhaps someone should tell Olbermann this isn’t Russia or East Germany, and the U.S. isn’t in danger of collapsing from the Trump administration anytime soon — in fact, just the opposite is true. Watch as Olbermann gives one of his oddest performances yet with this tragic entreaty.
