Migrant Caravan Costs City of Tijuana $40k a Day

There’s something we need to stop and acknowledge about this migrant caravan. President Trump has done his job. Literally. He is charged with upholding the law as it is written, and part of that law includes the prevention of illegal immigration. Despite what liberals will say, a person definitely can migrate illegally. Doing so is a violation of our laws, and permitting it would be a failure to uphold the office of President of the United States.

You have to remember that this isn’t the first Central American caravan to reach the California border. It’s not the tenth. These caravans have been flowing two or more times a year for a full decade. You might remember a few years ago when one of the caravans was much larger than normal. Obama was stumped with how to solve the problem. Legally, he had to stop the migrants, but obeying the law would harm his social and political agenda.

In the end, he let everyone across, but not before he made a major political mess of everything and tried to cover his tracks. He was rewarded in the following election by losing more ground in Congress. As you might imagine, Americans don’t like it when their president can’t stop an invasion.

President Trump successfully stopped this caravan for the first time in its regular history. There are thousands of migrants sitting in Tijuana, and unless they can show ample reason to be granted asylum, they will not enter our country. It’s the biggest defeat of illegal immigration in the modern era.

But, you might wonder how those thousands of migrants are faring on the Mexican side of the border. It’s ugly, but not for the migrants. Take a look.
