Let’s go ahead and score the Democrats on sexual abuse. On one hand, you have the Clintons. They bribed, threatened and exploited legality to get through decades of accusations of sexual assault. Bill Clinton has been outright accused of rape by at least three women, and all were viscerally silenced. The Clintons have even been caught on tape bragging about this. Great job Democrats!
On the other hand, you have Obama and his administration. They actively worked to subvert legal rights in educational institutions. They created kangaroo courts in order to annihilate due process. This led to dozens of scandals where false accusations brought real harm to good and innocent people. It is because the Obama Administration empowered false accusations that we all treat any claim of sexual assault with more skepticism than before.
Which of these brands of Democrat justice has done more harm? It’s really impossible to say. What we do know is that the bulk of Democrats defend both of these positions unflinchingly. Roy Moore was only accused and never convicted. He was voted out of office. He will never have political success again. You don’t see the same level of integrity from the left, and it’s why this entire Kavanaugh situation even exists.
There is no good news for the Democrats in this. They are either knowingly leveling false accusations of sexual abuse or they are exploiting a legitimate victim to score political points. Neither of these actions are ok. Any chance of argument on their behalf is null and void because Feinstein sat on this information for months. There is no excuse.
