Former President Barack Obama revealed a mockup of what his presidential library will looks like the other day. And to say its ugly is an understatement. Ben Shapiro, editor of the online newspaper The Daily Wire, compares it to “Gonk the robot from Starwars.”
A motto on the building reads something to the effect of how important words are. Shapiro hilariously points out that the motto is fitting because “words were the only thing that he was good at.”
Watch as Shapiro mocks Obama’s one time dream:
When I was younger I dreamed of a time when I would be an architect, so I’ve been pretty hands-on in the plan and Michelle has too. ~ Barack Obama
While Trump is mocked for bravado and being a narcissist it is Obama who said in 2008:
I think I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriter. I know more about policy on any particular issue than my policy director. And I’ll tell you right now … I’m a better political director than my political director.
Watch the video Shapiro says both his words and upcoming building prove what a bad president he was. In Shapiro’s words, “He is not a better architect than my 1& 1/2-year-old child who could at least build a box out of Magna tile.”
Both the Obama and Clinton libraries are testaments to their character. Clinton’s, says Shapiro looks like a double-wide trailer and Obama’s like his delusion that he succeeded at anything positive.
