We can all appreciate the fight Bernie Sanders gave Hillary Clinton (and, arguably, was scrubbed due to DNC corruption) to win the Democratic nomination. Whether you see him as some sort of crazed socialist, or perhaps somewhere in the middle, Bernie Sanders is a truly unique individual when it comes to senators.
Despite his socialist ideas, the man has shown grace and tolerance in the face of overwhelming corruption from his own party that ultimately blew his shot at running for president. Following the election, Senator Sanders came out in immediately acceptance of President-elect Trump, saying he would be happy to work with him.
