The Inconvenient Truth about the Republican Party

The next time a liberal acquaintance tells you that the Democrat Party is looking out for the interests of women and black Americans, send them a link to the following chat with Carol Swain, former Vanderbilt Professor of Political Science. Just be sure to have some smelling salts handy in case your liberal friend needs to be revived from their fainting couch!

Ms. Swain correctly points out on the video below that the Republican Party was originally formed to stop the spread of slavery and polygamy in the western territories of America. Polygamy devalued women, of course, and slavery literally kept blacks, well, enslaved. Ms. Swain observes that from its very founding, the Republican Party was in fact the party looking out for the interests of women and blacks. If you’re a liberal watching this, things only go downhill from there!

The former professor walks viewers through the entire civil rights history of the Republican Party, which has always treated women and blacks as equals. Every example that she details is contrasted with the facts about the racist tendencies of the Democrat Party, from the Civil War through the Civil Rights Act.

When you watch the video below with Professor Swain, you’ll understand immediately why YouTube has started viciously targeting conservative groups like Prager University with its demonetization strategy. The video is a history lesson that the schools no longer teach in the US, and it is sure to enrage the left. Check it out and let us know your favorite civil rights advance that the Republican Party brought about!
