The Moment Trump Called Senator Warren ‘Pocahontas’ Caught on Tape

The media has yet again invented a non-issue and turned it fodder for 24-hour news and late night comedians. Author and Media Analyst, Mark Dice offers his scathing and insightful observation concerning President Trump’s recent comments at a ceremony honoring several Navajo Code Talkers who helped when the war in the Pacific during World War II. Trump told the men, all in their 90’s, that they were true heroes unlike “Pocahontas” Elizabeth Warren. For those who don’t recall, Warren lied about her ethnic heritage in order to be accepted into Harvard as an affirmative action hire.

Watch the video to hear all of what the President said. The media parse this quote to say that Trump is a racist and insensitive.

“… you are very, very special people. You were here long before any of us were here. Although we have a Representative in Congress … they call her Pocahontas. But you know what? I like you because you are special.”

Dice offers Senator Warren’s response as she takes up the media mantra that Pocahontas is a racial slur. Those two words have been repeated on everything from CNN to Keith Olbermann, the later saying he is retiring from political commentary because of Trump’s comments.

White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is shown summing up this most recent attack when she said:

“I think what most people find offensive is Senator Warren lying about her heritage to advance her career.”
