The mayors of so-called “sanctuary” cities across America have been “refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities” – and now it could land them in JAIL!
Illegal-alien-loving mayors were forced to appear before the House Oversight Committee due to their outright refusal to comply with federal immigration law.
The Committee summoned the Democrat mayors of Boston (Michelle Wu), Chicago (Brandon Johnson), Denver (Mike Johnston), and New York City (Eric Adams) to hear what their what they had to say about why they’re choosing to side with illegal aliens over the federal government.
One particular Congresswoman, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) was not too happy with the responses from these mayors so she referred them to the DOJ for CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
“To me, after this line of questioning, it’s very clear that these policies which you have all implicated are alive and well in your cities are in direct violation of 8 U.S. Code § 1324,” Luna said.
She added, “It is a federal offense.”
“I’m all going to be criminally referring you to the Department of Justice for investigation, and as soon as I leave here, these will be going over to [Attorney General] Pam Bondi,” Luna continued. “I’m tired of it. The American people are tired of it.”
This means that these anti-American mayors could FINALLY face legitimate criminal charges.
THIS is the kind of justice that the GOP needs to start dishing out because if the shoe was on the other foot, the Democrats would have already locked up every single last dissident mayor.
