Top FBI Official under Investigation for Leaking Classified Info to the Media

For the vast majority of President Donald Trump’s short time in office, he has been plagued by the constant release of sensitive information, much of which makes it difficult for him to do his job. These leaks may contain partial information, so when other members of the media ask him about the leaks he is unable to go into further detail without releasing additional classified information. All of this is done in an attempt to smear the president and make him look bad.

There is a major difference between these leaks and the leaks of protected Hillary Clinton emails. These emails came years after the fact in an attempt to connect Hillary with the events of Benghazi. The leaks did not put anyone in danger or risk the lives of members of the military (unlike Clinton’s actions, which cost members of the military their lives). The release of this information regarding Donald Trump and current national security events make it difficult for President Trump to do his job and can put the lives of others in jeopardy.

Recently it became known that a top FBI official, with strong connections to former FBI Director James Comey, is under investigation for possibly sharing classified information with members of the media. Find out more about who this senior official is and if he did it because he was upset about Comey being fired.
