Trump Releases His List of Priorities for 2018

CBS National correspondent Chip Reid recently reported on what President Trump says he’s working on his 2018 agenda during his holiday getaway at Mar-a-Lago. First up was a tweet in which the president said:

Based on the fact that the very unfair and unpopular Individual Mandate has been terminated as a part of our Tax Cut bill, which essentially repeals (over time) Obama Care, the Democrats and Republicans will eventually come together and develop a great new Healthcare plan.

Among the other things on the President’s agenda are:

Infrastructure – While Trump predicts this will be an easy thing to accomplish, but Reid says this will not be the case. He said Republicans want to spend one-fifth of the one billion that Democrats are hoping for.

Foreign Policy – The Middle East will continue to be a matter of focus and the President is intent on keeping the pressure on North Korea.

Domestic Policy – Reid believes that Trump is taking aim at FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe because of his bias in favor or Hillary Clinton. As a result, McCabe is expected to retire this year.

Watch the video as Chip Reid seems to make light of McCabe’s entanglement with Clinton, Virginia Governor Terry McCalif, and possible financial dealings in McCabe’s wife’s run for the House in Virginia.

One thing is certain – Donald Trump has been busy in Washington and Mar-a-Lago as he pushes for his objectives in 2018.
