Is healthy competition always a good thing? That’s one of the questions being asked about recent shakeups at the White House. First Sean Spicer resigned, then Reince Priebus, and now Anthony Scaramucci was let go. Is this in part a way for President Trump to scare his employees into doing a better job?
Fox’s News Specialists point out, the recent leaks from the White House may be coming from a natural sense of competition among the main players working for President Trump.
Indeed, Trump himself is certainly guilty of fostering an atmosphere of competition in his organizations, as programs like “The Apprentice” have shown audiences in the past. The question is, when is this competition simply “healthy,” and when does it get in the way of fulfilling the presidential administration’s goals? If leaks to the media are creating more problems than they’re solving, that could be a bigger issue than the news that’s being leaked. As such, President Trump may want to re-examine his tactics for getting people around him to do a proper job.
