5 Reasons Why Oprah Would Lose if She Ran for President

Recently, Ben Shapiro, editor of the Daily Wire, published a list of five reasons why Oprah Winfrey would win if she ran for President in 2020 and five reasons why she would lose. This list came in response to the recent buzz about the possibility of Oprah running, a possibility that has grown increasingly likely as time goes on.

While the list of reasons why Oprah could win is certainly interesting, the reasons why she would lose seem more compelling. For one, Oprah is wildly inexperienced in the realm of politics. She’s also far-left, has her fair share of scandals that will be dragged into the light, has humored a few outlandish conspiracy theories, and has a light-touch approach that isn’t likely to work well against a brawler like Trump.

Granted, we’re living in a political age where almost anything can happen. The mere possibility of a general election featuring Donald Trump and Oprah Winfrey would have been too outlandish to even publish as fiction not too many years ago, yet here we are acknowledging it as a very real possibility. With that said, the odds of Oprah actually winning remain slim.

To hear Ben Shapiro further discuss his list of reasons why we aren’t likely to be saying “President Oprah” anytime soon, be sure to check out the video below.
