Before President Donald Trump took over as president he openly worked with people from all walks of life in order to receive their perspective on what needs to happen within the new administration to truly make America great again.
This has occurred at every level, from the individuals he has nominated for key cabinet positions to those meeting with him at Trump Tower in New York City. However, some liberals have taken exception to the people he has met with, including one CNN contributor.
Over the last six weeks or so, Donald Trump has welcomed many high profile black individuals at Trump Tower. This includes TV personalities, musicians, sports stars and a host of other individuals who have excelled in their line of work. Donald Trump wants to work with the best and those with influence.
Many from the black community he met with came from a hard upbringing. Donald did not come up from a hard or poor upbringing, so he naturally wants to understand what would make life better and propel all Americans on to be successful.
However, Marc Lamont Hill, a regular CNN contributor, took exception to these meetings. He eventually went on to call every single black person who has met with Donald Trump a “mediocre negro.”
That is an especially harsh and out of line term. It is also obviously something he wrote down on his notes in order to toss in at some point in order to turn heads. It’s despicable, and yet none of the people Donald Trump has met with can be considered “mediocre.”
