Democrat Corey Booker Grandstands in the Most Ridiculous Way at Confirmation Hearing of Mike Pompeo

After the 2016 election cycle, it became abundantly clear that Americans are not turned off by over-the-top and outlandish behavior. With that, and a potential presidential bid in mind, Democratic Sen. Cory Booker appears completely willing to grand stand and ask some of the most ridiculous questions in American political history. The New Jersey senator showed off his penchant for dramatics once again during the Secretary of State hearings for Mike Pompeo.

On this Daily Wire episode posted on YouTube, conservative icon Ben Shapiro takes Sen. Booker to task for his ridiculous behavior and line of questioning. He points out Sen. Booker’s flip flop on important issues as he’s moved up the political ladder. But Shapiro holds nothing back when he says Booker has officially asked the most unimaginable question ever during a confirmation hearing, noting the senator’s well-earned reputation for antics in front of a camera.

Shapiro himself goes on a high-energy rant after playing a clip of “The Question” that takes the cake above all others in the more than 200 years of the United States of America! In a mock questioning of his own, Shapiro wants to know of Pompeo: Did you watch “Brokeback Mountain” and weep? Did you watch “Call Me By Your Name” in slow motion?

This 5-minute segment of the Daily Wire hits the nail on the head when it comes to liberal hypocrisy and outright ridiculousness. If you want to know the new standard for the craziest question ever asked in a Congressional hearing, check out this clip of Sen. Booker questioning Secretary of State nominee Mike Pompeo during his confirmation hearing.
