The national media has traveled a downwards trajectory for some time now. Realistically this can be traced all the way back to the creation of a 24-hour news station (CNN). Once the news became a form of entertainment and the need for continual advertisement dollars mounted, news outlets realized more views and clicks, which means more money, comes in when outlandish, slanting stories are published, printed or produced. All of this has come to a head with the last presidential election, as the liberal media (which makes up a vast majority of media outlets) has gone on to slander, undeserving individuals, simply because of their political alignment.
During the previous administration, if conservative based news outlets (such as FOX News) even attempted to point out flaws in the First Lady (even though her “improved” lunches for school children ended up a complete disaster and she traveled on the American taxpayer’s dime like a teenager who found her parent’s AMEX card) would be bent over the coals for saying anything bad. Yet, despite all of this, the vast majority of the liberal media believes it is perfectly fine to lambaste and attack anyone and everyone on the Republican side. Recently, a main stream liberal media outlet went on to call Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders a “Butch Queen.” Is anyone in the left leaning media calling foul about this?
