Any self-proclaimed feminist or social justice warrior who focuses their attention on the United States of America is a liar, hypocrite and idiot. Those words sound harsh, but there’s no excuse to tolerate this nonsense. The U.S. virtually wrote the book on equality and female empowerment. It’s illegal to perform any form of gender-based discrimination, and women in the U.S. have more freedom and person and professional success than their counterparts anywhere in the world.
In the meantime, there are a host of countries that do not treat women and men as equals. In fact, they don’t treat women like human beings. You already know these countries; they tend to be ruled by Muslims. A few exceptions exist in the Far East, but the places where feminists and social justice warriors should be turning their attention are a blind spot.
Somehow, condemning these countries for their brutal and inhumane treatment of women is unjust. It would make these social warriors xenophobic to speak honestly about things that are wrong in this world. Anyone who condemns how the U.S. treats women and then protects countries like Iran has no business talking. Their credibility is shot.
