Democratic Mayor Wants to Get Rid of Fox News, Defends Bias of CNN, MSNBC

How many times have you heard mainstream media decry Trump for assaulting the media? They liken him to a dictator, Nazi and fascist on a daily basis. All of this is based on the fact that he doesn’t like it when they say bad things about him. Despite that, he has made exactly zero moves to censor, restrain or oppress media anywhere in our country.

Still, the left might have an argument if they were consistent. They aren’t. They regularly go after Fox News and suggest that it needs to be censored. Far worse, many notable politicians on the left have worked to destroy media that they don’t like. The mayor of New York City has even pushed banks and insurers to drop NRA publications in order to try and censor the group.

This is only the beginning. In this video, you can see an interview with NYC mayor Bill de Blasio. What he suggests is so radical that even the CNN host blanches. If you’re too extreme for CNN, you might want to rethink a few life decisions. Anyway, before you watch, you should be reminded of one thing. News Corp is the parent company that publishes a number of newspapers including The Wall Street Journal. They split from the same older company that now runs Fox News and a number of affiliates.

Keep that in mind when you watch the video. It’s far more aggressive and disturbing than de Blasio wants you to notice.
