MSNBC Panel Warns Ocasio-Cortez is Going to Get Trump Re-Elected

Despite continuing to hold her up as the future of the Democratic Party, many on the left are not too happy with some of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest antics. Since taking office in January, Ocasio-Cortez has managed to kill 25,000 high-paying jobs in New York by fighting against Amazon’s plans to build a new headquarters in the state and has managed to become the laughingstock of Congress by drafting a proposal to fight climate change that would cost the country a reported $93 trillion.

Now, the friendly neighborhood leftists over at MSNBC are concerned that mishaps such as these may end up helping Donald Trump secure reelection in 2020.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez isn’t running for President in 2020. However, so long as the Democratic Party continues to support the idea that she represents the party’s new direction, anything Ocasio-Cortez does becomes a direct reflection of the party’s values and ideals. That’s not good for Democrats, and many on the left are starting to realize it.

Come 2020, Democratic Presidential candidates may be forced to make a tough decision – distance themselves from Ocasio-Cortez and risk facing a major backlash from her passionate base or continue to support her and risk being associated with every moronic thing she says and does.
