There are two sides to the abortion debate. One side fully believes that abortion is infanticide. That isn’t just murder; it’s the murder of babies. Many cultures throughout history have considered it the very most heinous crime imaginable. The other side believes that a baby in the womb is not a human being. Well, they at least claim as much.
Throughout history, cultures have taken similar stances on similarly indefensible subjects. America’s own history has extreme blemishes where half the country believed that people of African descent were inherently inferior, subhuman, and not worthy of freedom. The other half believed that they were just as human as the rest of us.
You can see the same argument between colonizers and indigenous people. Or, Nazis and Jews. The argument is always that the people being killed aren’t really people, and thus it’s ok. Repeating the atrocities of the past does not suddenly make them less horrible. Using clever words to make abortion sound like anything other than the murder of babies is the exact same rationalization and doublethink that was employed by every genocidal maniac who has ever lived. Abortion is murder. The end.
Now, California thinks that just having the freedom to murder babies isn’t enough. They’re actively pushing to make it more accessible and more affordable. There is no line of thinking on the planet to justify this, and yet here they are. See for yourself in this video.
