Putting the ‘Christ’ Back in ‘Christmas’

The Left wants to own Christmas. They tell us that the prominence of the celebration of Christ’s birthday excludes people who are not Christian. Well, so what? Jews have survived quite well celebrating Hanukkah alongside Christians for a long time.

But we are expected to believe that saying “Merry Christmas” and putting up signs saying as much is somehow harmful to non-Christians. That is nonsense. These are the most fragile people on Earth. They live in the freest, most prosperous country in existence and they have the audacity to complain about an annual party where we give gifts to children.

So, we devised a short and accurate response that anyone can use any time someone tells them they shouldn’t enjoy Christmas. Any time you take grief for openly enjoying the holiday, you can just tell them to jam it down their gob hole. That’s what we do.

And that’s all you can do because these people are not really looking to improve things. All they want is to exert control over others. They are just looking to get a thrill from controlling you.

If all they wanted was to abstain from celebrating, nothing is stopping them. They can do as they like. But they also want to control you, and that’s crossing a line. These people want to purge Christmas from the world- but they keep drinking Coca-Cola- which is ironic.

So tell them to kiss off.

Here’s One America News with more advice on keeping Christmas festive.
