Democrats Want to Impeach Trump a THIRD Time — 14 Months Into His Term — Because Apparently Twice Wasn’t Embarrassing Enough

We are fourteen months into Donald Trump’s second term, and the Democrats are already warming up the impeachment machine for round three. A left-wing outfit called Free Speech for People — which, despite its name, would very much like to silence the guy 80 million Americans voted for — just dropped a poll claiming that 52% of likely voters support impeaching the president. Again.

Because if at first you don’t succeed, and then you don’t succeed again, just keep doing the exact same thing and expect different results. That’s not the definition of insanity. That’s the Democratic Party platform.

Let’s talk about this poll, because it’s a masterpiece of activist math. Lake Research Partners — a Democratic polling firm, naturally — surveyed likely voters between March 26 and 30 and found that 84% of Democrats want impeachment. Shocking. That’s like polling Golden Retriever owners on whether dogs are great. But here’s where it gets creative: they claim 55% of independents and even 14% of Republicans are on board.

Except here’s what the poll actually did. Before asking the impeachment question, they read voters a preamble about Trump “violating Americans’ constitutional rights and the law, including actions by ICE in the U.S. and the war he started with Iran.” That’s not a poll question. That’s a closing argument. You might as well ask, “Given that this man is history’s greatest monster, would you like him removed?” and then act surprised when people say yes.

Free Speech for People has been calling for Trump’s impeachment since January 20, 2025 — literally the day he was inaugurated. They didn’t even wait for him to do anything. He hadn’t signed a single executive order, hadn’t made a single phone call, hadn’t even finished his inaugural lunch, and these people were already filing the paperwork. That’s not oversight. That’s a subscription service.

And now they’re shopping this poll around to House Democrats, trying to convince them that impeachment is actually a winning midterm strategy. “Run on impeachment!” they’re saying. “Voters love it!” Which is interesting, because voters also loved it so much in 2020 that they… re-elected Trump four years later with an even bigger margin.

The timing here is transparent. We’re seven months out from the midterms. Democrats know they have no economic message — inflation is eating people alive, gas prices are through the roof thanks to the Iran situation, and the Fed just said the word “complicates” about interest rates, which in Fed-speak means “we have no idea what we’re doing.” So what do you do when you can’t talk about the economy, the border, or crime? You impeach.

It’s the political equivalent of pulling the fire alarm during a test you didn’t study for.

Here’s what Democrats don’t seem to understand: impeachment isn’t supposed to be a campaign strategy. It’s a constitutional remedy for high crimes and misdemeanors. But they’ve turned it into a recurring fundraising event, like a charity gala that happens every time Trump’s approval rating ticks above 45%.

Impeachment One was over a phone call to Ukraine. It failed. Impeachment Two was over January 6th. It also failed. And now Impeachment Three is apparently going to be about… ICE enforcing immigration law and the president responding to a hostile nation that closed the world’s most important shipping lane?

By this logic, every wartime president in American history should have been impeached. FDR? Impeached. Lincoln? Impeached. Washington? Believe it or not, also impeached.

The American people see through this. They saw through it in 2019, they saw through it in 2021, and they’ll see through it again. You want to beat Trump? Win an election. Put up a candidate. Offer a better vision. But Democrats can’t do that because their vision is a $7 gallon of gas, an open border, and a pronoun quiz at the DMV.

So instead, they poll-test impeachment, leak it to friendly media outlets, and pretend the whole country is behind them. We’re not. We’re behind the guy you keep trying to remove. And every time you try, his numbers go up.

Keep it coming, Democrats. At this rate, you’re going to impeach Trump right into a third term.
